Gateway constellation, which leads to counting error

Hi,

recently i had a problem, where a gateway constellation leads to an countig error in the process. I solve the Problem, but i still don't understand why the origin constellation leads to the counting error.

Maybe some one could explain it to me.

In picture: Error_Proc, you can see the origin task/gateway constellation, which leads to a difference between the finished tasks and the completes task of the process counter

In picture: Fix-Proc, you can see my solution (It clear off the difference between the two counter but maybe i do something illegal. So feel free to correct me, if this is the case)

best regards

Kai

Dear Kai,

It is important to bear in mind that you need to Balance gateways. In other words, Splits must be joined equivalently:

Kai,

The comment Juan does, is a key point to simulation. Also, I would add be carefull with implicit gateways. In your wrong diagram you have a implicit divergent gateway. Make all your gateways explicit: draw them!
