Is there a way to export the description texts as plain text (without HTML tags included) ??
You can publish your complete documentation in any of the following formats and share with your organisation.
Currently our product does not include this feature. This platform will allow you to share your ideas so that the whole Bizagi BPM Modeler community can vote and discuss them. We want to make sure we solve the needs of our clients, so that we can add the features you consider most important.
this is actually not what I am looking for. My problem is, that when I export a diagram to BPMN or XPDL format the description includes HTML code. I'd need the possibility to export plain text in that case. Does that make sense to you ?
Sorry. I misunderstood your question. To solve it, please apply the latest FIX according the instruction file: https://bizagi.sharefile.com/d-s5ba1615ee6d44e8b
I still see this issue. No matter whether I export as BPMN or XPDL - Description still comes as HTML text.
Looks like this :
<Description><p style="text-align:left;text-indent:0pt;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 0pt;"><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Segoe UI;font-size:8pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;">This needs to be in Plain Text !</span></p></Description>
Any help appreciated!
We were analysing this topic with our product team today. They said that currently our product does not include this feature.
I will modify the type of this post to "Idea" so that the whole Bizagi BPM Modeler community can vote and discuss them. We want to make sure we solve the needs of our clients, so that we can add the features you consider most important.
I think this should only be a small change. It would definitely make sense to have this feature as otherwise the export is still limited and bound to Bizagi modeler. Hope this gets in, meanwhile I'll write my own code to get it removed from the xpdl file.
Thanks for taking care!
Was this issue ever solved after this time?
Are there any workaround that coudl be used to remove the HTML formatting tags from the file. Ex: an external program like the one Martin was talking about?
Any help would be appreciated
Is there any progress on allowing the exports to be in plain texts after this time? Or any workaround like a external program to remove the tags, as Martin was suggesting?
