Elearning: MODELING WORKFLOW PATTERNS - complex gateway question

I have question regarding "Workflow Patterns using BizAgi Process Modeler.pdf" document "MODELING WORKFLOW PATTERNS"

In the chapter "WCP 34 - Static Partial Join for Multiple Instances"

1- What is the behavior in the complex gateway? What happens after the 60 first instances are gone to the next activity?

A- The gate is open and all the following instances will go through one by one

B- The gate closes and waits 60 new instances to open

C- Other

2- In this diagram, what could be the difference if one removes the complex gateway and adds in the sub-process, properties, advanced:

Flow condition = 60: the flow will continue to the next activity when 60 are completed.

After

the first 60 instances the flow will continue but what about the

remaining? Are they moving to the next activity one by one as soon

completed or waiting to reach 60 new (will never reach this quantity)?

Chapter 10.6.5 page 294

The gateway has an activation condition defined in the standard but there are discussions in Internet for the activation condition after the reset. The semantic is not well defined in the standard.

Bizagi allows to enter a text based activation condition where it's possible to define the behavior after the first reset.
