Data element specification

When I am designing a process model, Bizagi Modeler lets me specify data elements on a per-process basis.

Suppose I already have a database and I want to use the data elements that already exist in the database schema, in my model on a process by process basis.

How can I do this?

Dear Ken,

We had an error because in fact, we answered yesterday but maybe there was a technical issue and the answer didn't save. I just posted the answer again :)

Regards.

Dear Ken,

The data artifacts in the Bizagi Modeler palette are only for the purpose of modeling. If you want to connect your business data with your data model you can do it using Bizagi Studio. To achieve this goal you can restore a DB backup and you can use virtualization/replication too, in order to connect an external source of data with your Bizagi Data Model. We are sharing with you some useful URLs related to this topic:

Hi Andres,

Thanks for the information.

I have Bizagi Studio installed and I'm trying to make a plan for using it as an experiment.

I looked at the three URL's but they don't answer my question.

I also looked at the Bizagi Studio website but I could not find my way through all of the sales oriented text.

Assume that:

1: I have created a test model with Modeler.

2: I want to use my test model in Studio

3: I have an existing database in SQL Server 2019.

How do I link each process in my test model with the appropriate data in my existing database?

Thanks

Ken
