Copy/Paste of Rich Text Not Working

Hello,

I just upgraded to 2.4.0.8 and am noticing that when text is copied and pasted, rich text formatting choices are not being preserved.

This is happening when I copy and paste within BPM, from BPM to other applications, or from other applications to BPM.

This is occuring in existing models, as well as new models.

This is something I do very often, so I know this was functioning in 2.4.0.4, the version I was using before the upgrade.

Any advice? I really rely on this functionality.

Dear Edward,

Thank you for the feedback.

Indeed in the 2.4.0.8 version, content will be pasted without format (you would need to give format to it after pasted).

This was an adjustment done in order to avoid issues caused by special characters or any other non-text content.

We will look into this subject for a future release.

Thanks for the prompt reply. This implementation decision really limits the utility of rich text formating, if you ask me. I make extensive use of the formatting, and copy and paste extensively to apply the formatting I want - then modify the content of the item. So with that in mind, I need to roll back to 2.4.0.4 until I know this is "fixed" or I finish this project. Is there any place this kind of release note is is published? http://www.bizagi.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=149&Itemid=165&lang=en seems to be at a much higher level of detail.
