Cancelling Partial Join - Escalation or signal Event needed?

Hi In "Modeling Workflow Patterns" in the following link:http://bizagi.com/docs/Workflow%20Patterns%20using%20BizAgi%20Process%20Modeler.pdf for pattern WCP 32 - Cancelling Partial Join (page 15 of handbook), an "escalation event" is mentioned for cancelation but in the graphical example "Signal Event" is used. According to my investigation in SAP NetWeaver BPM 7.11 documents, Escalation event is mentioned for this pattern in their documents also. Would you please update me which one is correct? Escalation or Signal Event Many thanks in advance Lachin

Dear Lachin,

Indeed, the use of an Escalation Event is correct.

We will adjust the graphical example so that the proper event is shown.
