binomial distribution for loops

I'm trying to run a simulation that has a couple looped tasks.

Eg. Contact lead:

- task should be attempted up to 4 times with a 70% response rate

- if no response after 4 attempts, the workflow terminates, otherwise it continues on

Would I use the binomial distribution for this task? If not, what kind of distribution should I be using?

Dear Mary,

Having analysed your question, we have found that you are required to change distributions to determine how many times an activiy is executed.

At this time Bizagi modeler can support distributions for their time parameters.

Details are at: http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?level_2_example.htm

Please contact us if you require further information

So, are you saying loops are not supported? Or, are you saying I simply need to change the type of distribution I'm using? If I need to change, what distribution type do I use for loops?

Dear Mary,

That´s right. Modeler does not support yet loops on its simulation. We invite you to use our feedback platform on the ideas space to post your request.

This platform will allow you to share your ideas so that the whole Bizagi BPM Modeler community can vote and discuss them. We want to make sure we solve the needs of our clients, so that we can add the features you consider most important.
